25 years of Pokemon history captured in one Ash portrait by a dedicated fan

A Pokemon fan with exceptional artistic talent has created a stunning portrait of Ash Ketchum, the beloved protagonist of the Pokemon anime. The portrait is a labor of love that showcases the greatest moments of the anime’s 25-year history, capturing all the adventure and excitement that fans have come to love.

The talented artist, known as turnedninja, spent two weeks perfecting the coloring on the portrait, and the hard work has certainly paid off. The piece is a beautiful representation of Ash Ketchum’s journey, which began with the first episode of the Pokemon anime on April 1, 1997. Over the years, Ash and his loyal Pikachu have traveled through seven different anime titles, including Pokemon the Series: Ruby and Sapphire, Pokemon the Series: Diamond and Pearl, Pokemon the Series: Black & White, Pokemon the Series: XY, Pokemon the Series: Sun & Moon, and Pokemon Journeys: The Series.

Throughout the anime’s run, Ash has encountered many friends and foes, faced countless challenges and battles, and evolved and grown as a trainer. The portrait created by turnedninja depicts many of the iconic moments of Ash’s adventure through the Pokemon anime, providing a nostalgic trip down memory lane for fans who have been following the series for years.

The Pokemon anime has had an impressive run, with 1,233 main series episodes and numerous movies and spin-off series. Even the recent live-action movie, Detective Pikachu, was a huge success, and there are rumors of a sequel in the works. While Ash and Pikachu’s adventure has concluded in the final episode of Pokemon Journeys: The Series, fans are eagerly awaiting the next iteration of the Pokemon anime.

The latest series, entitled Pokemon Horizons: The Series, has already begun airing in Japan. It is set in the Paldea region, which is the home of the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet titles. Fans are excited about the new series, which features a new duo of leads named Liko and Roy, as well as the three Paldea region starters, Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, and a host of supporting characters. There are even rumors that Nemona, a fan-favorite character from Scarlet and Violet, will make an appearance.

Although Pokemon Horizons: The Series has already aired in Japan, it is not yet known when it will be available in the United States. Netflix has confirmed that it will be the home of the upcoming stop-motion series, Pokemon Concierge, but details about the availability of Pokemon Horizons in the US are still unknown. Fans are eagerly waiting for news about when they can catch the latest adventure of their favorite Pokemon trainer, Ash Ketchum.
